Blood and Chocolate (2007) is the hair-raising tail of wolf-whistle-icious Agnes Bruckner, a teenage werebabe wondering where she’ll ever find peace in this big, mean world. She lives in Bucharest with her aunt, Katja Riemann, trying to forget her tragic past and escape her fate as the future mate of her pack’s top dog, Olivier Martinez. And hey, what’s worse than being a forlorn teenage wolf without a say in her own love life? Well, how about being the future bitch of a man who’s already married . . . to your aunt! That’s right, Ollie’s her uncle by marriage! That dog! Poor Agnes, mooning about her rotten luck, finds herself drawn to an artist, the fully human Hugh Dancy, who is in town researching werewolves for his graphic novel. If Hugh wants Agnes and her lovely sweater puppies for herself, he will have to fight Ollie and his band of hairy wolfmen.
